A graduate of Boiling Springs High School, Charlianne went on to earn her degree from the University of South Carolina Upstate, where she now serves as Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. In her role, she works to strengthen connections, expand opportunities, and support the continued growth of higher education in the Upstate. She is also currently pursuing her master’s degree in Strategic Communications Management, further strengthening her ability to lead, communicate, and advocate effectively.

Charlianne is a 2015 graduate of Leadership Spartanburg and has dedicated years of service to organizations that drive local progress and economic development. Her leadership experience includes serving as Chair of Spartanburg Young Professionals, and the Duke Energy Regional Advisory Board. She also serves nationally with the Council for Advancement and Support of Education on the Public Higher Education Legislative Advocacy Professionals Committee.

In recognition of her leadership and impact, Charlianne was named to Spartanburg’s inaugural 40 Under 40 class. She is also a proud member of Delta Zeta Sorority. Through these experiences, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing South Carolina families, businesses, and communities.

When she’s not working or serving her community, Charlianne is a devoted and active mom, cheering on her son from the sidelines at Spartanburg Christian Academy, supporting her children through Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA activities, and volunteering for field trips at Cooley Springs-Fingerville Elementary. She worships at Lake Bowen Baptist Church, where her faith remains a central part of her daily life.
